5 nights lodging, 3-4 days fishing: $2900USD

Trip Includes:

5 nights lodging: We will use a combination of hotels and full house rentals
Minimum of 3 days fishing: Full Day Halibut, Fly in Silver Salmon, Russian River Fly Fishing, Kenai River + open day
Local Transportation: To and from Anchorage Airport and to each fishing location (ANC)
Sack Lunches, Quick Breakfasts and A few meals at lodging (We will cook some fish!)

We partner with https://www.adventureoutfittersalaska.com/ for the Fly In Silver Salmon and other local outfitters for Halibut and Kenai River Fishing.

Does Not Include:

Tipping: Common practice to tip guides
Fishing License: Need to purchase Alaska Fishing License (EST: $45USD)
Eating out at restaurants: We will purchase some necessities at lodging for breakfast, lunches but eating out at restaurants and other specialty food purchases on your own.

21st, Thursday: Arrive Anchorage International Airport
LODGING: Anchorage Hotel (double occupancy rooms)
22nd, Friday: Depart for the Kenai Peninsula, Unguided Russian River -Rainbow Trout & Sockeye
LODGING: Soldotna
23rd, Saturday: Big River Lakes Fly In
LODGING: Soldotna Lake House
24th, Sunday: Halibut
LODGING: Soldotna
25th, Monday: Full Day Salkeye on the Kenai
LODGING: Soldotna
26th, Tuesday: Drop off at Anchorage Airport (11:30AM-12:00PM)

*** This year we are working in 2 open days in case of weather. Goal is to make sure we have best effort availability to do both Halibut and Big River Lakes Fly in. So, on open days, we will fly fish on the Russian River or you are free to hike, sight see or whatever you want to enjoy your time in Alaska. If we get blown off, we have extra days to reschedule. With that, it’s still not a guarantee that we will be able to do all days. We make best efforts to receive refunds from our partners when we are not able to make days due to weather.

Russian River-Bring your fly rod, we will embark on an amazing day on the Russian River. This is an unguided trip, we will hike up the famous Russian River and fish our way down. Sockeye Salmon are sometimes still running this time of year but our target fish is Rainbow Trout. It’s a beautiful hike up the river and there’s a good chance we will be sharing the river with Brown Bears and amazing wildlife viewing experiences along the way!

Halibut-Depart from Homer Harbor 7:00-9:00 AM(depending on Tide), (full fishing day) Weather pending, in some cases they are not able to take the boats out and typically provide a river fishing day for Salmon. We always hope for good weather!

Open Day – This year we have kept an open day in the schedule. We will preliminarily book this day for River Fishing on the Kenai but it’s flexible.

Other Notes:

Plan on Taking home Fish

-We will provide ALL the materials you need to process your fish. ( we will do it together) You will need to purchase your fish Boxes to Bring home your fish on the airplane. (We will go to the store and pick up Fish Boxes). Plan on bringing home 15-50 pounds of fish. (7-25 Kilos) High end weight depends on if we are able to fish and catch Halibut.

-If you want to fly fish on the Russian River, please bring your fly rod and waders. If you do not have and would like them provided, please request in advance. If you don’t want to fly fish, feel free to come along and enjoy the day, it’s an amazing experience and beautiful scenery regardless of the fishing.

-We can accept individuals or groups. We are also slightly flexible on dates so if you have a group of 4+ , please message us and schedule a call so we can plan your trip accordingly.
