Camp Theme – Spring Break in Miura! Use English while having fun on outdoors!

Day 1

10:00 Meet Up Locations: 1.  Shinagawa station 2.  Kohitsuji International Training Center
10:15 Depart for Miura
11:45 – 12:30 Welcome to the Rainbow Bridge House/Orientation
12:30 – 13:15 Bento Lunch(students bring)
13:30 – 15:00 English Lessons (1 on 1 and group)
15:00 – 16:30 Afternoon Hike: Beach/Shrine/Farm
16:30 – 17:00 Rest
17:00 – 18:00 Cooking Workshop
18:00 – 19:30 Dinner
19:30 – 20:30 Bath/Shower Time
20:30 – 22:00 Movie Night

22:00 – 22:30 Good Night

Day 2

8:00 – 8:45 Breakfast
9:00 – 10:30 English Lessons (1 on 1 and Group)
10:45 Depart for Jogashima & Misaki Fish Market Field Trip (Public Bus)
16:00 – 16:30 Return to Beach House/ Rest
16:30 – 17:30 English Lessons ( 1 on 1 and Group)
17:30 – 18:30 Cooking/BBQ Workshop
18:30 – 19:30 Dinner
19:30 – 21:00 Sparklers “Hanabi” & camp fire (weather pending)
21:00 – 22:00 Bath/Shower Time
22:00 – 22:30: Goodnight

Day 3

8:00-9:00 Breakfast cooking/baking workshop
9:00-11:00 English Lessons (Presentation Practice: What I did and enjoyed in Miura!)
11:00-12:00 Cooking Workshop/Prep for Family Lunch
11:00-13:00 Parents arrive, Lunch
13:00-14:00 Student English Presentations to Parents
14:00 Students Depart with Parents OR Depart from MiuraKaigan Station

What should my child bring?

• 1 small backpack with day trip items (for field trip)
• 1 duffel bag/small suitcase for overnight/weekend items
• Friday Lunch Bento Box
• Suica/Pasmo card for public transportation
  – Shinagawa-Miura Kaigan (Train)
  – If parents are not attending Sunday event, they will also need suica funds from Miura Kaigan-Shinagawa on Sunday.
• Comfortable walking shoes
• 1 notebook and pencil case
• Digital camera or smart phone-we will use the camera for the photo scavenger hunt

What is provided?

• Food: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch dinner, Sunday breakfast, lunch
  and lots of snacks as needed! **please notify us of any food allergies/restrictions
• English Materials: Each Student will be provided a folder with learning materials, weekend schedule
• LINE group with parents for communication
• Daily 1 on 1 and group English Lessons
• We have 1-2 bilingual staff that will support students when needed, other than that all activities and lessons with be 100% in English

Additional Notes:

• Food Restrictions/Allergies: If your child needs special food or has any allergies let us know.
• Field Trips:
  – Friday Beach/Shrine/Farm hike: We will walk directly from beach house to these locations.
  – Saturday Jogashima/Misaki: We will travel by Bus to Jogashima and hike through Jogashima park. We will then go to the Misaki Seaside Fish Market where we will shop for the BBQ food
